9. Pagenflow Marketing Emails vs. Your Use of Templates
9.1 Marketing Emails FROM Pagenflow
If you opt in to receive marketing communications from us:

- We will not send marketing emails without your consent (where required by law)
9.2 Your Use of Exported Templates
Critical distinction - please read carefully:
Pagenflow is a template builder only. We do not send emails on your behalf. Here's what that means:
What Pagenflow does:
- ✓ Provides tools to design email templates
- ✓ Exports templates as HTML, React code, or to email platforms
- ✓ Stores your template designs
What Pagenflow does NOT do:
- ✗ Send emails to your customers or subscribers
- ✗ Manage your email subscriber lists
- ✗ Track email opens, clicks, or deliverability
- ✗ Handle email compliance on your behalf
Your responsibilities when using exported templates:
If you use templates you've created with Pagenflow to send emails, you are solely responsible for:
- Complying with email marketing laws (CAN-SPAM Act, GDPR, CASL, etc.)
- Including proper unsubscribe mechanisms in your emails
- Honoring opt-out requests promptly
- Providing your physical mailing address (if required by law)
- Obtaining consent to email recipients (where required)
- Maintaining your own privacy policy for email subscribers
- Choosing an email service provider (ESP) to actually send your emails
- Ensuring templates render correctly before sending
Email platforms you might use: After exporting from Pagenflow, you'll use services like:
- Mailchimp, Klaviyo, SendGrid, Brevo, etc. (for sending marketing emails)
- Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, etc. (for personal or transactional emails)
Those platforms have their own terms, privacy policies, and compliance requirements that you must follow.
Our limited role:
- We may provide export integrations to email platforms for your convenience
- This Privacy Policy only covers data you provide to Pagenflow
- We don't see or control what happens after you export your templates
